The second stage of the Republican Student Sports League in futsal of the Almaty division concluded at Energo University (Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumbarbek Daukeev), with the participation of 32 teams from various universities in the country: 24 men's and 9 women's teams. The games were held under the auspices of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, and the tournament was attended by the coach of the Kazakhstan national futsal team, the famous Brazilian and Azerbaijani footballer Paulo Ricardo Figueira Silva, better known by the nickname Kaka.

As a result of intense competition, the rankings were distributed as follows:

Among men's teams:

1st place - SDU University

2nd place - Energo University

3rd place - Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism

4th place - S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University

5th place - Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University

Among women's teams:

1st place - Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University

2nd place - Kazakh State Women's Pedagogical University

3rd place - Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism

4th place - Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov

5th place - Turan University.

The winning teams will represent the Almaty division at the Republican competitions.
