The Rector of AUPET named after G. Daukeyev Saule Sagintayeva has visited the Innovation Center “Skolkovo”

On December 2, 2021, the Rector of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after G. Daukeyev Sagintayeva Saule Savetovna visited the Innovation Center “Skolkovo” in Moscow. She met with the General Director of the Russian private company “SPUTNIX” Vladislav Ivanenko and the Marketing and Sales Director Anatoly Kopik. This company is a resident of the Innovation Center “Skolkovo”. It is engaged in the production of high-tech satellite components and technologies for small spacecraft, as well as services based on them.

During the negotiations, issues of mutually beneficial cooperation between AUPET and "SPUTNIX" were discussed. The following directions were identified: 1) Preparing of university students for the annual Championship “WorldSkills International” in Robotics and Space Engineering; 2) Joint participation in scientific projects in the field of space research and the use of the results of space activities. 

We believe that this cooperation will strengthen not only the potential of AUPET named after G. Daukeyev in the field of high technologies, but also intellectual ties between Kazakhstan and Russia in the space industry.
