As the winner of last year, Energo University (Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumbarbek Daukeev) hosted the XVI Republican Subject Olympiad among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the educational program 6B07103 "Thermal Power Engineering."

 

The following universities' teams participated in the Olympiad:

 

Toraygyrov University (Pavlodar)

S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University (Astana)

K.I. Satpayev Kazakh National Research Technical University (Almaty)

Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (Almaty)

Shakarim State University (Semey)

M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University (Shymkent)

Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daulekeev (outside the competition, as the university was the host).

Following the evaluation of the competitive works, the rankings were distributed as follows in the individual standings:

2nd place - A. Iskandarov, K.I. Satpayev Kazakh National Research Technical University

2nd place - E. Khamitova, S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University

3rd place - S. Yanovsky, S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University

3rd place - D. Saliyeva, M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University

3rd place - A. Turysbayev, Kazakh National Agrarian Research University
