On-line  seminar of the Institute of Electrical Engineering and Electrical Technics, with the participation of a professor from Germany, Yuri Plotkin, on the topic “Wind turbines installed at sea”

According to the schedule of the Institute of Electrical Engineering and Electrical Technics, on April 13, 2020, an on-line video seminar with the participation of professor of the University of Economics and Law (Germany) at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Electrical Technics, Yuri Plotkin, on the topic "Offshore wind generators" dedicated to the 45th anniversary AUPET named after Gumarbek Daukeev passed.

Skype communication software (https://www.skype.com/) was selected as the technical platform.

In the video seminar, 46 participants: undergraduates, students of Master's degree program,  PhD students and faculty of the Institute of Electrical Engineering and Electrical Technics took part. During the seminar, various aspects of achievements and innovations in the field of modern energy-generated technologies were analyzed. Questions on the application of these wind generators at sea in Kazakhstan, for example, in the Caspian Sea, Lake Balkhash, etc. were discussed. The information obtained during the online seminar was very useful for undergraduates, students of Master's degree program, PhD students and faculty of the Institute of Electrical Engineering and Electrical Technics in order to develop research potential.
