By the decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Zhambakin Askar Serikovich has been appointed to the post of Vice Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Askar Zhambakin was born in 1985 in Almaty. In 2007 he graduated from the Almaty Institute of power Engineering and Communications, in 2009 - the University of Manchester. He began his career in 2003 as a technician of communications of the first category of a communications center at the Closed Joint Stock Company “Air Kazakhstan”.
In 2010-2011 Askar Zhambakin was the head of the department for corporate systems, the officer for direct marketing of the Subsidiary Bank of the Joint Stock Company “HSBC Bank Kazakhstan”.
In 2011-2014, he worked in the Joint Stock Company "Development Bank of Kazakhstan" as the head of the methodology and business processes department, the director of the business processes and corporate development departments. In 2014-2016 Askar Zhambakin was the Deputy Director of the Department “Management and Development of Payment Systems” of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2016-2017 he held the positions of Deputy Director and Director of Department at Joint Stock Company “Kazkommertsbank”.
In 2017-2018 Askar Zhambakin was a program manager of the project office, advisor to the chairman of the board of information and communication technologies of the national holding "Zerde". From May 2018 to the present, Askar Zhambakin has held executive positions in commercial organizations.
