From April 21 to 23, a delegation of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev is visiting the Kazan State Energy University. The delegation includes: the Rector of AUPET Sagintaeva Saule Savetovna, the Director of the Department “Science and Commercialization” Dzheksenbinov Damir Zhanatbekovich, the Head of the Department "Electric Power Systems" Umbetkulov Ertugan Kozhagulovich, the Secretary of the Academic Council - Begimbetova Ainur Serikbayevna.

On the first day of the visit, the rector of AUPET Sagintayeva Saule Savetovna met with the rector of KSEU Abdullazyanov Edward Yunusovich and the pro-rector for scientific work of KSEU Irina Gareevna Akhmetova. The participants of the meeting discussed issues of cooperation between the two universities.

The visit continued in a round table format. The Representatives of AUPET and KSEU Universities discussed a number of issues of cooperation in the fields of science and education. The first vice-rector – the vice-rector for academic activities Leontyev Alexander Vasilievich, as well as the directors of institutes, the heads of educational and scientific departments took part in the discussion on the part of KSEU.

During the first day, the educational and laboratory base of the university and research centers were shown to the AUPET delegation.

On April 22, 2021, the rector of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev Sagintayeva Saule Savetovna and the Rector of the Kazan State Energy University Abdullazyanov Edward Yunusovich signed a cooperation agreement.

AUPET and KSEU universities are part of the consortium of technical education of Kazakhstan and Russia, which was created at the end of 2020.
