The international technology forum "Digital Bridge 2022" brought together representatives of the Kazakhstani and international IT communities in the capital of Kazakhstan on September 28 and 29 on one platform. More than 200 speakers, 300 IT companies, 100 potential partners from 15 participating countries took part in the forum.

Speeches by leaders of the IT industry, about 60 panel discussions, interviews on current themes, exhibitions and thematic zones were organized.

The following panel sessions were held:

- "Unified Digital Ecosystem: Benefits and Challenges". The issues of creating the Technological House of the Turkic States, the creation of the Digital Catalog of Innovations of the Turkic countries "Digital Silk Road" were discussed;

- "Development of GovTech in Kazakhstan: collaboration with business" Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bagdat Musin held a meeting on further collaboration between e-government and business;

- Scouting in the field of defense and security "Defense Tech". JSC "Kazakhstan GIS Center", together with the Central Asian Association of Digitalization Experts, held a panel session to find specific solutions and projects for existing technological challenges in the field of defense and security. Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan Darkhan Akhmedievu took part in scouting.

Key speakers of the event: founder and CEO of "in Driver", author of the bestseller "From Yakutsk to Silicon Valley" Arsen Tomsky; Eurasian Region President "Huawei" Daniel Zhou; Vice President of "TikTok" Theo Bertram, head and co-founder "Kaspi.kz" Mikhail Lomtadze and many others.

Director of the Institute of Information Technologies Aliya Doszhanova; Senior Lecturer at the Department "Information Systems and Cybersecurity"; PhD student of AUPET Syrym Seydazimov; Aidana Ilyasova, specialist in innovation activities of the Department of Science and Commercialization, represented AUPET at the forum.

Tech startups competed in the Astana Hub Battle for two days at the  site "Digital Bridge". Two applications were submitted from AUPET this year to participate in the "Astana Hub Battle". A student of the group IEk 19-1  Asan Khasanov and a student of the IEk 19-2 group Alisher Dintaev, under the guidance of PhD student Yerkebulan Nurgizat, made it to the final and presented their projects.
