As part of the dual degree program based at Energo University (Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev), the enrollment of students in the branch of the German Anhalt University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule Anhalt), which is among the top five universities in Germany in the field of applied sciences, is open. Significant discounts are provided for the first 20 applicants.

Applicants to Energo University now have the opportunity to receive two diplomas at once – a state and a European standard diploma – after the signing of a relevant agreement between the heads of universities of the two countries in Germany in June this year.

Admission to the branch is available for both citizens of Kazakhstan and foreign students. The education will be entirely in English under the bachelor's programs "Systems Engineering" and "Biotechnical and Medical Systems and Devices" and the master's program "Energy Policy and International Trade." The first 20 applicants admitted to the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences branch will receive a discount of 1,750,000 tenge for the first year of study.
